About Renee Taylor

Renee Taylor is a registrant with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia. Having been immersed in the research, practice, and exploration of alternative therapies, Renee found her life's calling in the study of acupuncture and Chinese medicine. She is a firm believer that health is within all of us and is dedicated to helping her clients achieve their personal goals in health and well-being.

Renee's post graduate studies refined her expertise in auricular therapy (ear acupuncture), an emerging and highly potent modality of medical acupuncture that treats the whole physical and emotional body, primarily focusing on the ear as a micro-system. She has much experience working as a certified Detox Specialist with addictions and stress related imbalances after having worked with several youth and adult centers. In her private practice, Renee has had clinical success working with pain, addictions (including smoking), emotional imbalances, digestive problems, menstrual and pregnancy related issues.

As a woman, Renee has always been interested in treating women and their health concerns. This interest blossomed further after her pregnancy and the birth of her daughter. She became deeply fascinated by the incredible power women have in creating and birthing new life and families and received certification in Acupuncture for pregnancy and childbirth. Becoming a mother is transformative and has deepened Renee's desire to further reach out into the community with her skills as an acupuncturist to dedicate her self, her practice and study to pregnancy and postpartum care with a special interest in assisting women during labour.

Renee compassionately treats all physical and emotional conditions using a combination of body and auricular acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, electro-stimulation and tuina massage.

Renee is currently working from Balance Acupuncture and Massage located 4338 Main St (at 28th Ave). She treats all physical and emotional conditions using a combination of Body and Auricular Acupuncture,Moxibustion, Cupping, Electro Stimulation and Tuina massage.
